Description
This dish combines egg noodles and ground beef. You use a sour cream sauce and cheese. It makes a hearty meal for your family.

- 16 ounces egg noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion diced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 15 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
- Boil egg noodles in water
- Drain the noodles
- Brown ground beef in a skillet
- Add onion and garlic to the beef
- Cook until onion is soft
- Stir in tomato sauce and simmer
- Mix sour cream and cottage cheese in a bowl
- Combine noodles with the sour cream mixture
- Put half the noodles in a baking dish
- Top with meat sauce and half the cheese
- Add the rest of the noodles and cheese
- Bake for 20 minutes
Notes
- Use lean beef for less fat
- Substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream
- Keep leftovers in the fridge for three days
