Description
Roast beef brisket in your oven. This recipe uses a dry rub for a crust.

- 4 pounds beef brisket
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Mix the sugar and spices in a bowl.
- Rub the spice mixture over the beef.
- Place the beef in a pan.
- Pour the broth into the pan.
- Cover the pan with foil.
- Bake the brisket for 4 hours.
- Remove the pan from the oven.
- Let the meat rest for 15 minutes.
- Slice the meat against the grain.
Notes
- Leave a layer of fat on the meat.
- Check for 195 degrees Fahrenheit with a thermometer.
- Store leftovers in a container in your refrigerator.
