- 1.5 lbs Chicken Breast
- 2 cans Great Northern Beans
- 2 cans Diced Green Chiles
- 1 Jalapeño
- 4 cups Chicken Broth
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 Onion
- 2 tsp Cumin
Instructions
- Sauté onion, jalapeño, and garlic. Bloom spices in the oil.
- Add broth, green chiles, and raw chicken. Simmer 20 mins until chicken cooks.
- Remove chicken and shred. Add beans and corn to pot.
- Mash some beans to thicken the soup.
- Return chicken to pot. Stir in cream and lime juice. Serve.

- Thickening: Mashing the beans is the secret to a creamy texture without flour.
- Spice Control: Remove jalapeño seeds for a milder chili.
