Description
You make stuffed peppers with ground turkey, rice, and tomato sauce.

- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cut the tops off the peppers and remove the seeds.
- Brown the ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onion and cook until soft.
- Stir in the rice, tomato sauce, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Fill each pepper with the turkey mixture.
- Place peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake for 10 minutes until the cheese melts.
Notes
- Use any color bell pepper.
- Substitute brown rice for white rice.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for three days.
