Description

Delicious Neapolitan cookie bars with layers of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup strawberry puree
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
  6. Divide dough into three equal parts.
  7. Mix cocoa powder into one part, strawberry puree into second part, and leave the third part plain.
  8. Press chocolate layer into a greased baking dish.
  9. Add vanilla layer on top, then strawberry layer.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let cool before cutting into bars.
