Instructions
- Sift almond flour and powdered sugar together.
- Whip egg whites until frothy, then gradually add granulated sugar.
- Continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
- Add food coloring and mix until combined.
- Fold in the almond flour mixture gently.
- Pipe heart shapes onto a baking sheet.
- Let them rest for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 150°C (300°F) for 15-20 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely before filling.
- Sandwich two macarons with buttercream or ganache.
