- 1.5 lbs Ground Beef
- 3 Russet Potatoes
- 3 Carrots
- 1 Onion
- 4 cups Beef Broth
- 1 can Tomato Sauce
- 1 cup Frozen Peas
Instructions
- Brown ground beef and onions; drain fat.
- Add carrots, celery, and seasonings.
- Add broth, tomato sauce, and potatoes. Simmer 20 mins.
- Add peas/corn and simmer 5 mins.
- Thicken with cornstarch if desired.
Notes
- Meat: Use lean ground beef (90/10) to avoid a greasy broth.
- Potatoes: Russet potatoes work best for a thick, hearty texture.
- Leftovers: Flavors improve the next day; store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
