Ingredients

- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup butter
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 2 eggs

- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line pans with paper.
- Mix flour, cocoa, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
- Beat butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Combine mixtures to form dough.
- Mix cinnamon and sugar in a dish.
- Roll dough into balls.
- Roll balls in the sugar mixture.
- Place on pans.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Cool on the pan.
Notes
- Do not overbake.
- Store in a jar.
- Use room temperature butter.
