Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
- Drop tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until set.
- Let cookies cool on a wire rack.
- Melt dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Dip the cooled cookies in melted chocolate and top with strawberry slices.
- Allow chocolate to set before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe strawberries for best flavor.
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- Chocolate can be substituted with white chocolate if desired.
