- 1.5 lbs Chicken Thighs (sliced)
- 10 oz Cremini Mushrooms
- 2 cups Chicken Broth
- 3/4 cup Sour Cream
- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 Onion (diced)
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 2 tbsp Flour
Instructions
- Sear seasoned chicken strips in a hot skillet; remove.
- Brown sliced mushrooms in butter; remove.
- Sauté onions and garlic, then stir in flour to make a roux.
- Whisk in broth, mustard, and spices. Simmer to thicken.
- Return chicken and mushrooms to the pan. Cook through.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Serve over noodles.
Notes
- Dairy Tip: Add sour cream off the heat to prevent curdling.
- Mushrooms: Don’t crowd the pan so they brown instead of steam.
- Serving: Best served immediately over egg noodles or mash.
