A restaurant-quality Garlic Shrimp Scampi ready in just 15 minutes. Juicy shrimp are sautéed in a rich, alcohol-free garlic butter and lemon sauce. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

- 1.5 lbs Large Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 4 tbsp Butter (divided)
- 5 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup Chicken broth (low sodium)
- 1/4 cup Fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp Lemon zest
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley (chopped)
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Thaw shrimp and pat completely dry. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear shrimp for 1 minute per side until pink. Remove from pan and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Deglaze pan with chicken broth and lemon juice. Simmer for 2 minutes to reduce.
- Reduce heat to low. Whisk in remaining 2 tbsp cold butter until sauce is glossy and emulsified.
- Return shrimp to the pan and toss to warm through.
- Stir in lemon zest and parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Shrimp: Do not overcook. Remove them as soon as they turn pink.
- Alcohol-Free: This recipe uses chicken broth and lemon instead of white wine for a Halal-friendly version.
- Serving: Pairs perfectly with linguine, rice, or crusty bread.
